Reson8 is a cloud communications platform that provides SMS communication software and service for businesses and APIs for software developers to add communications to web and mobile applications.

We understand that when you use our Reson8 platform you are placing your trust in us to handle your data appropriately, including the personal information of you and your end users.
As a communications services provided, Unique Computer Systems, you will be providing us with your personal information when you setup a customer account with Reson8. In the case of processing your marketing campaigns and operational messages, Reson8 may have some or all of the personal information data of your target audience and customers that you share with Reson8. Customer's or users that use or interact with your applications that you have connected to using Reson8's API - this may include both your Customer Usage Data (e.g., communications metadata) and your Customer Content (e.g., the contents of communications).
As a service provider, we are responsible for processing data for your customer's data in cases where we deliver SMS messages for you.
Processing Customer Accounts and Data
Unique Computer Systems, through Reson8, collects and processes customer's personal data in below scenarios

A processor processes personal information on behalf of a controller based on the controller's instructions. When Reson8 processes your Customer Account Data, the Customer that shares data with Reson8 for processing is acting as a controller.

Processing Customer's Shared Data
Customers that sign up for accounts on Reson8 may share their end users details or their target customer's data for sending them marketing or operational communications. To simplify, we will jointly refer to these data as Shared Data hereinafter. This Shared Data typically shows up on Reson8's platform in a one of the following ways
We use the above Shared Data and shared content to provide services to you and to carry out necessary functions of our business as a communications service provider. We do not sell your end user's personal information and we do not share your end user's information with third parties for those third parties' own business interests.
In some cases, we may also use third-party service providers to, process and store your information in the United States, Canada, Japan, the European Union and other countries.
We do not sell or allow your Shared Data to be used by third parties for their own marketing purposes, unless you ask us to do this or give us your consent to do this.
